Are you concerned that you or your child may have attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD)? At ADHD Clinic, we provide expert child and adult ADHD assessments, including all testing, diagnosis, and management solutions, for clients throughout the UK. Our virtual consultation process provides access and freedom for both clients and clinicians. Get in touch today to find out more.
What We Offer
We provide a range of services and assessments, including:
Adult ADHD Assessment
Children ADHD Assessment
ADHD Management
Assessment for ADHD Medications
(only if you have a confirmed diagnosis by another agency)
How It Works
Please note that for child ADHD assessments, we require information from the child’s current school and a parent or caregiver. For adults, we need information from a family member or close friend to initiate assessment.
When all the required information is provided, an online appointment will be arranged with a psychiatrist to complete a clinical assessment and conclude the diagnosis. The detailed report of the assessment is provided to the client and a copy is sent to the GP if the client gives consent.
About Our Process
Step 1 – Contact
Get in touch with our clinicians via telephone or email to discuss your assessment for child or adult ADHD.
Step 2 – Payment
Pay for your initial assessment (£680 for adults, £780 for children), including diagnosis report and prescription if required.
Step 3 – Preliminary Paperwork
Complete our pre-assessment paperwork, which we will send to you once your payment has been received. This must be completed by yourself and an informant – either someone you know or your child’s school.
Step 4 – Virtual Assessment
Once your paperwork is complete, we will arrange your virtual clinical assessment.
Step 5 – Diagnosis and Prescription
If you are diagnosed with ADHD, medication can be prescribed on private prescription if indicated and you will be required to attend follow-up appointments to monitor the effectiveness of the medication. When stable on medication we will request your GP to issue repeat prescriptions under the shared care protocol.
Step 6 – ADHD Care
Your ADHD care will be supervised by our clinicians until your care is taken over by an NHS ADHD team. You should also discuss your diagnosis with your GP to acquire repeat prescriptions once your medications are adjusted.
